This was probably the first or second time Dia met Flash [Dabboo’s boxer]. I wanted to shoot her with Flash for my calendar. Kids and animals are a bit difficult. Flash refused to go near her. Several years ago, he had a skin infection and whenever I applied the ointment, he would lick it off. It wasn’t dangerous or anything, so I put some on Dia’s foot. She was okay with that. After every couple of frames, we would apply the ointment and Flash would go lick it off! We shot about 40 pictures till we got one good shot. Dia was never scared of Flash, but she said the picture was more Flash than her. She is wearing a tube dress. It was a part of the frame but the picture looked better without it. I find very little similarity between her and Aishwarya, as some people like to think. But Dia loves her hair. Once I told her to wear a brown wig. She was just totally against it. by
Arjun Rampal in Dabboo Ratnani Calendar 2005
Arjun Rampal, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan are three male faces who are really inspired. A lot of men hate photosessions, but these three love it and do justice to still pictures. Arjun always contributes to shoots. This picture was also shot for my calendar. Arjun and I were listening to the soundtrack of the film, Run Lola Run. So he suggested we do some running shots. I added a fan. The picture wasn’t preplanned. It just happened. We have had great times together. He is always full of masti. The first time we shot together was in Jaisalmer. He had a French beard then, which I did not want for the picture. But he insisted on keeping it saying he didn’t have a razor. We knew he had one -- but for the French beard, he was clean shaven. He was just playing pranks. We even bought him a razor but later, he said he lost it. Finally, he shaved. He is always up to something! by

This is a bizarre picture because it looks like she's not wearing anything, except boots. It's a sexy, sensual picture without showing too much. It's one of my favourite pictures and that's why I've put it in December -- my birthday month! Besides, December has the longest life because that's the last month of the year. The pre-production took time, but the shooting time took 15, 20 minutes. She's a fabulous model to work with. I've shot her much before she became an actress, when she was still a model. Guatemala Sinkhole 2011
In 2007, natural disasters create a depth of 300 feet sinkhole swallowed a dozen homes in Guatemala – killing 2 and causing thousands of people were evacuated. The sinkhole was caused by rain and underground waste stream. by NainaComments
